Join like-minded people and learn how to
express yourself through the medium of wood!
Join beginners and experienced carvers, to share hints, tips and inspiration
on how to get the most out of your chosen wood.
This group is runs across two sessions every Tuesday,
so you can come to either or both!
3pm - 5.30pm and 6pm - 8.30pm
A great place to discover hidden talents, learn new skills and
techniques, nurture your mental wellbeing, and maybe make a
gift or two for friends and relatives - if you can bear to
part with your sculptures!
Participants can develop their own project at their own pace in a
supportive workshop environment
The club has its own tools to borrow, can source wood for carving
and has a vast bank of carving projects to try.
Each session costs £5 for members and £5.50 for non-members.
Annual subscription to CWC is just £15 per year.
Cornwall Woodcarvers also meet in
Camborne every Wednesday afternoon,
and Penrice Academy, St Austell every Wednesday evening

Stitch, Knit, Natter

In need of a Stitch n Bitch? Up for a Knit and Natter? Like being Sew-cial? Or just need to share a yarn? Then our Stitch, Knit, Natter group is just for you!
Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, macramé, hand sewing, darning, sashiko or any other (no machines) project and join us for a social evening.
A great place to bring your projects, to share motivate and inspire each other over a cup of tea and chinwag.
We meet Tuesday evenings, 6pm - 8.30pm here in our
purpose build studio.
Each session costs just £5, and you're welcome
to rummage through our resources to use in your project.
No need to book, just come along!
