Patchwork Cushion Cover

Service Description

In this textile workshop, participants will be taken through the stages of creating Crumb Patchwork from all those delicious but tiny scraps of fabrics we can't bare to throw away. We will share a variety of hints and tips so that you can create a design that can then be used for any soft furnishings around the home. On completion of the workshop, it is anticipated participants will have a completed patchwork cushion cover to take home with them. All materials and equipment required to complete the workshop will be supplied, but if you do have any special fabrics you would like to use for your patchwork cushion cover, then please do bring them along. Please also bring a cushion that you would like to cover so that we can ensure the correct size of the cover. The cost of the workshop is £25, and includes all your materials required to complete the project. We do suggest you bring your own machine as its much easier to learn the quirks of your own machine, and this is the ideal workshop to get to grips with your sewing machine. We will also refresh you with tea and biscuits throughout the evening. If you have any requirements to aid your evening, please do let us know in advance so that you can enjoy the workshop in a stress free manner.
