Knicker Making Class - evening session
Our famous knicker making workshop is back - evening session
- Starts 11 JulStarts 11 Jul
- 3 British pounds£3
Using tried and tested patterns, learn how to make your own knickers from old clothes! During this 3-hour workshop we’ll take you through each of the stages to plan and upcycle an old shirt or summer dress and share our hints and tips on how to produce some rather fancy knickers that are totally sustainable! With this pattern, you will make a range of knickers suitable for your Best Occassions! All materials and equipment required to complete the workshop will be supplied, but if you do have any lightweight summer dresses, skirts or shirts you’d would like to use for your knickers, then please do bring them along. That also goes for your sewing machine and kit, as its much easier to learn the quirks of your own machine. Entry into the workshop is by suggested donation of £3 per session (yes that’s just £3!) which helps towards the running costs of the classes. This is a suggested donation, so if you are unable to cover the costs, please do get in touch and we will create a space for you for free. These workshops are part of our TeXInnovation Partnership with Cultivate Communities CIC and the University of Exeter, and are funded by the National Lottery Community Action Fund. This means that places are strictly limited, therefore as per our T&C's, we require 24 hours notice (at least) to cancel your place. Any "no shows" will be invoiced at the full amount of the course (£45 per person) as we cannot allow these places to be misused. Thank you for your understanding in this matter!
