Service Description

In this session, we will help you to get to grips with your overlocker, and by using your old towels, t-shirts and fleeces, make a variety of washable wipes! This workshop with Liz Williams of DarkStar Designs, will guide you through making reusable wipes on an overlocker, for makeup removal, using with babies or for any of your other needs. There will also be an option to make reusable kitchen roll and family cloths. Please bring your overlocker, and an old towel or two, any t-shirts, fleeces or old shirts that you would like to re-use in the workshop. Entry into the workshop is by suggested donation of £3 per session (yes that’s just £3!) which helps towards the running costs of the classes. This is a suggested donation, so if you are unable to cover the costs, please do get in touch and we will create a space for you for free. These workshops are part of our TeXInnovation Partnership with Cultivate Communities CIC and the University of Exeter, and are funded by the National Lottery Community Action Fund. This means that places are strictly limited, therefore as per our T&C's, we require 48 hours notice (at least) to cancel your place. Any "no shows" will be invoiced at the full amount of the course (£45 per person) as we cannot allow these places to go unused. Thank you for your understanding in this matter!
