About the Event

Learn how to sew together bundles of delicious "rescued" paper, to create your own unique journals and notebooks during this 4 hour workshop with Guest Tutor, Tamsin Loveday, Artist-Bookbinder-Creative Tutor.

Using reclaimed pages of paper and card gathered from all sources, including your recycling bin and the stashes at Upcycle Kernow, with a salvaged button and a wrap of silk offcut, this is your opportunity to learn the basics behind the traditional skill of Book Binding.

Suitable for all abilities, help in all aspects of your design will be given along the way

All materials (and equipment & ppe) will be supplied, however, if you do have any old papers or pages you would like to incorporate into your designs please do bring them along.

A light, vegan lunch is also included in the ticket price along with tea and coffee.

Tamsin, owner of The Barefoot Bindery, is a practising Artist obsessed with paper, print and book arts.  Tamsin loves sharing her knowledge and skills as an experienced creative tutor, and her mission is to help people reconnect with their inner creative spark.
